Choosing Presence Retreat

A Retreat for Cowgirls and Cowboys

June 14-18th, 2026

This retreat is an invitation to come home.

Home to yourself, to truth, and to the quiet wisdom that lives within you.

Together with the horses and the wide-open Montana landscape, we’ll explore what it means to live fully in the present moment—and what can sometimes get in the way.

Over our days together, we’ll begin to loosen the need to control and quiet the urge to overthink. In the stillness, we’ll listen to something deeper—something guided not by the mind, but by the knowing that lives in your body, your heart, and your connection with the herd. You’ll feel it in the crisp mornings and the wildflowers of spring in Montana.

Each day you’ll spend intentional time with the horses, learning from their calm presence and honest reflection.

We’ll also gather in circle to look at boundaries, grief, and relationship, both with ourselves and with others. Through these honest conversations, you’ll find your way back to connection, to authenticity, and to belonging.

There will be quiet moments, deep breaths, and space to simply be. You’ll ride across the meadows, watch the sun fall behind the mountains, and let the beauty around you mirror what’s waking up inside. There will be time for solitude, for rest, and for listening—to the wind in the grass, the stillness, and your own heart finding its way home.

Your guides, June & Nick, along with the horses and the strength of the land, will walk beside you with compassion, presence, and care. Both of us are Gestalt-trained and deeply committed to holding a safe and sacred space for your unfolding.

Before you arrive, we’ll send a welcome packet with everything you need to know—from what to bring, to what each day will look like.

We’re honored to share this journey with you.

Come as you are. Leave as the person you were always meant to be.

WHY COME TO THIS RETREAT...

  • To truly be present isn’t something you’ve done in a long time.
  • Maybe you’ve known for a while that your life isn’t quite what you want it to be — that something inside is calling for change, for peace, for you.
  • You long to rediscover who you truly are.
  • You want to strengthen your inner self and feel grounded again.
  • You’re ready to find joy — real joy — that comes from within.
  • You want to release the trauma that has held you back.
  • You’re seeking healing from emotional pain and the freedom to move forward.
  • You love the quiet wisdom of nature and the way it helps you breathe again.
  • You want the simple, soul-stirring freedom of riding in the mountains of Montana, where you can finally exhale.
  • And most of all, you’re open to connecting deeply with yourself — perhaps in a way you never have before.

At this retreat, you’ll find the space, support, and stillness to do just that. Surrounded by the beauty of Montana, guided by horses, and held in a circle of understanding hearts, you’ll begin to rediscover you and choose presence.

MEET OUR COACHES

ABOUT JUNE

Equine Gestalt Coaching is June’s deepest passion. She finds profound joy in witnessing men and women open their hearts, heal old wounds, and rediscover their inner strength as they connect with nature, horses, and themselves. June believes these retreats awaken a powerful truth — that real change begins when we take responsibility for our own lives, stop placing blame, and choose to move forward with courage. True freedom isn’t found by resisting our fears, but by understanding them and bravely facing them.

June has trained for four years in the Equine Gestalt Method and Gestalt Coaching with Melisa Pearce of Touched By A Horse, a pioneer in the horse–human healing movement.

A proud mother of two wonderful daughters and one son, and Nana to eight amazing grandchildren, June embodies the cowgirl spirit shaped by her Wyoming ranch roots and strengthened by a lifetime of working alongside her husband and son on their 25,000-acre Montana ranch. She lives what she teaches — grounded, genuine, and guided by the quiet wisdom of the land and the horses she loves.
